Independence

Last night William took us to dinner in Chinatown (it was Chinese New Year)
And to the Leonardo Da Vinci exhibition at the National Gallery
I quite enjoyed myself and am glad to be able to say I've seen ninety-three Leonardo pieces
Including both versions of The Virgin Of The Rocks

Dulcie spent the night with me in Fulham and we went back to the
National Gallery this morning. She has lectures all day so I went in the museum and
Got overwhelmed. I did manage to get one sketch in and to see Van Gogh's Sunflowers
I also bought a few postcards and a book William and Dulcie were talking about
Which is apparently brilliant and very famous
Called The Story Of Art. I plan to start reading after I click the publish button on this post
